NEET- 2020 Topic-wise Syllabus
Ø
Syllabus for the medical exam is
basically derived out of three main subjects namely, Physics, Chemistry and
Biology.
Ø
NTA (National
Testing Agency)has defined NEET Syllabus from
topics covered in class 11 and class 12.

in NEET -2020 has been given
in the below.
Focus of Physics in
NEET- 2020
Ø
Physics is generally the toughest
subject out of all three subjects.
Ø
NEET- 2020 is expected to have
lengthy and time-consuming questions in this section.
Ø
Out of 45, there were about 8
difficult questions in Physics last year.
Mechanics and Magnetism have
continued to be NEET favorites for a few years now and carry
maximum focus. Therefore, students are advised to keep them on top of their
priority list for NEET -2020.

Expected Questions In Physics
Ø
Candidates should aim to score a 150
or above in the Physics section of NEET -2020. To get a good overall
score in NEET -2020, it is important that all major and minor topics are
given their due importance during the preparation time. The preparation
strategy should include a plan to cover all the high impact chapters in the
first segment, while all the medium and low impact topics should be covered at
the end.

Focus
In Chemistry
Chemistry is a
moderately difficult section in the exam.
Ø
The questions range from theoretical
and reasoning based to practical.
Ø
Of late, application-based questions
are being asked in the exam so students should focus more on them.
Ø
NEET- 2020 is expected to have more questions from class XII
syllabus as compared to class XI.
Ø
Last year there were 24 questions
from class XII and 21 from class XI.
Ø
Organic Chemistry and Physical
Chemistry are extremely important and carry the maximum weightage.

Expected Questions In Chemistry
Ø
The first four chapters from Class
XI Chemistry are the most important out of all the topics. It is very important
to have a solid foundational base of all the basic concepts of chemistry,
because without it the rest of the topics become redundant. The 4 main topics
are basic concepts of chemistry, structure of atom, periodic table, and
chemical bonding. It is also important that one understands the basic of
organic chemistry, because it will provide the insight required to score well
in all of the other organic chemistry questions. Other important topics include
Equilibrium, Solid State, Solutions, Electro Chemistry, Chemical Kinetics,
Coordination Compounds, Aldehydes, Ketones, and Carboxyclic Acids.
Ø
According to a comprehensive
analysis of the questions posed in the NEET examination in the last 12 years, the
following number of questions are expected in each topic.

Focus In Biology
The
biology section is divided into Botany and Zoology, each having 45 questions.
Ø It is usually the easiest out of the three subjects and
thus, a savior for many students.
Ø In NEET 2017, the weightage tilted towards class XII
syllabus from which 46 questions were asked as compared to 44 questions from
the class XI syllabus.
Ø In Zoology, class XII syllabus had more weightage and only 3
questions were asked from class XI.
Ø However, in Botany, class XI had more weightage from where
35 questions were asked.
Ø NEET 2020 is expected to have a lot of questions from
Human Physiology and Plant Diversity.

Expected Questions In Biology
Candidates
should aim to score above 320 in the Biology section of NEET- 2020
to bag a good government college. Topics must be segregated according to their
importance and probability and a preparation strategy must be created
accordingly. Topics that are of high impact in the examination include: Human
Physiology, Reproduction, Biotech, Genetics and Evolution, Ecology and Cell
Biology. These must be tackled first and there should be no doubts in the
applicant’s mind in these topics as they can garner a large quantity of points.
Questions of medium impact can stem from Biology in Human Welfare, Biological
Classification, Structure in Plant and Animals, and Living World. Questions of
low impact will arise mainly from Animal Kingdom, Plant Kingdon, and Plant
Physiology.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WWW4nG5SRBM
